About Cane Corso Ireland
Welcome to Cane Corso Ireland, we are dedicated to preserving the Cane Corso breed in it’s purest form. As active advocates and breed ambassadors of the Cane Corso, our mission is the promotion and preservation of the species. Public education about the Cane Corso breed is our highest priority, as so, the CCI (a.k.a Cane Corso Ireland) website was established to help handle any misconceptions about the breed and to act as a resource of information for owners and potential buyers throughout Ireland.
As Cane Corsos are relatively only new to Ireland and were only recently recognised by the IKC in 2013, there are very few breeders, which means at this point it is very easy for bloodlines (genepools) to become contaminated. To prevent this, we have created a directory of IKC registered Cane Corso breeders in Ireland to help safe guard against the inbreeding of these dogs. We call upon all Cane Corso breeders within Ireland, whether kennels or hobby breeders, to register with CaneCorso.ie so that we may validate their documentation and ensure that they abide by the IKC rules and regulations. In return, all breeders who have been officially validated by CaneCorso.ie will avail of our classified ads section in which they can list their IKC registered pups, along with their preferred contact details (i.e. website, social media) which will be displayed in our breeder’s directory section.
